3 Simple Reasons To Consider Becoming a Pinterest VA

This post may contain affiliate links. I only promote products I use and love.

Pinterest is such a fun platform, where everyone searches and gets inspired with beautiful plates of food, DIY projects, and fashion trends. But have you ever thought about becoming a Pinterest VA?

Since I started my work-at-home journey, my favorite job and experience were working as a Pinterest Virtual Assistant.

In this post let me give you a few simple reasons as to why this job is a great side-hustle and a viable option for working at home!

1 – Pinterest is Hot

When I say hot, of course, I mean popular. With it being the largest visual search engine worldwide with over 200 million users, you can imagine the kind of marketing opportunities open to thousands of companies.

If you become a PVA, your potential client list is huge, and probably will keep growing.

Many people love Pinterest and use it personally, but how many are using it effectively to market their products?

Trust me, many more businesses are interested and are searching for someone who is already skilled in that area. That could be you, utilizing the hotness of this platform.

You never know, it could be your dream job.

2- Pinterest is Fun

We all know this fact. Pinterest is meant to inspire creativity, to spurn DIYness, and to revel in the beauty of a good sunset or a too-true quote.

But you know what else is super fun about Pinterest? Creating those images that people will fawn over! (At least that’s one of my favorite parts)

There is something satisfying about lining up the perfect fonts displaying the perfect photo and creating pop-worthy colors and lines. I also love making the client’s profile look nice, with organized boards (with a colorful image as the cover) and good description text to complete the looks of the pins. So. Much. Fun.

Don’t worry, for all you more math-minded people, there are these things called analytics from both Pinterest and Tailwind that you can sit and ponder and then strategize. That part is fun, too, I just can’t do it all day.

Who said working couldn’t be fun? Being a PVA gives you the best of both worlds.

3 – Pinterest Pays

Obviously, one of the perks of having a job is that you get paid. Well, good news, Pinterest pays.

You don’t get a check from them directly, but all the people who want you to do all the Pinterest things for them? They don’t have the time, but they do have the money!

They will gladly pay you to do the things a PVA does. I mentioned a few things that PVAs do earlier, but let me give you some possibilities of all that could be offered.

Pinterest VA Possible Tasks:

  • Pin creation
  • SEO description writing
  • Hashtag/image research
  • Stock photo hunting
  • Scheduling pins with Tailwind
  • Analyzing pins and boards with Pinterest
  • Profile consultation
  • Image consultation
  • Manual pinning
  • Application to group boards
  • Application to Tailwind tribes
  • Creating and organizing Pinterest boards

This nowhere comes near to exhausting this list. It all depends on you and what you want to offer. It also depends on if you are planning to work this gig part-time or full-time.

Either works, and many people do it many different ways!
