My Favorite Amazon Products

This post may contain affiliate links. I only promote products I use and love.

The amount of products that Amazon boasts is simply astounding. But that’s why we shop there, right? Because we know we will find what we need, want, and then some. We all have our favorite Amazon products, and here are some of mine.

I used to use Amazon for everything, but lately, I’ve had to cut back with just one full-time income at our house now. It’s good for me because sometimes online retail therapy becomes all too scary and real. And expensive.

Now I use Amazon as a place to get things that we need around the house, but don’t necessarily have to have it now.

I compiled a list of my favorite Amazon products that I use (almost) every single day. I hope these are valuable to you as a mom, wife, and a person trying to keep life simple and doable.

My Favorite Amazon Products Mega-List

I will break down the products by type to help you (and me!) keep them organized.

There is no way to really list all of the things I have bought from Amazon that I use, but I will recommend the most useful and awesome things that I have found irreplaceable.

Are you ready for this? Here goes.

Favorite Amazon Products: Baby!

There always seems to be a need for something baby. With a crazy amount of baby products, it’s a wonder parents don’t pull their hair out deciding which one product to buy. I’ve had that issue myself.

Through careful research on most of these products and reviews, I have made a few purchases that are amazing when it comes to current and future Baby Tastove’s.

Baby Sling Carrier

One of my favorites, a Stretchy baby Wrap Carrier. The one I purchased was an Innoo Tech baby sling (currently unavailable), but this gray sling is almost identical to the one I bought. I have used it with both of my kids and will continue to use it with future children.

Pros:

  • Soft, stretchy, comfortable for both mom and baby.
  • The wrap is very long with many ways to wear it.
  • It’s also not as expensive as some other baby wraps, which can run around $35 or more.

Cons:

  • Sometimes too stretchy, doesn’t hold the baby well after a certain age.
  • Best for infants up to about 5 months (at least with my kids because they are huge and growing fast!).
  • It’s also easy to get a little warm while wearing it since it’s a thick swaddle.

Love to Dream Swaddle

I wasn’t always a fan of swaddles and sleep sacks because I thought, why are they necessary?

I’ll tell you why: it keeps my children warm enough without having to worry about them flinging off the covers, getting the covers in front of their face, or getting wrapped up in a huge blanket that leaves them sweating.

Win/win for mom and baby!

I really like this Love to Dream swaddle for when they are about 2-6 months old. The swaddle does’t keep the arms by their sides or chest once swaddled, and the babies are able to comfort themselves with their hands by their face.

Pros:

  • keeps baby snuggly and able to reach her face with her hands (they are covered by the sack, though).
  • Is easy access for nighttime diaper changes,
  • keeps baby warm during nighttime feedings and any other movement they may have.

Cons:

  • It fits a little tight around baby’s midsection, so it seems like my kids outgrow this sack pretty quickly.
  • The hand pockets tend to get all wet and slobbery since my babes love sucking their hands.
  • It is also a little tight around the neck

The Swaddle is a #1 Best Seller at $29.95!

Halo Sleep Sack

The Early Walker SleepSack was extrememly helpful for when my toddler was in a cool room a couple of winters ago.

We later purchased a room heater since our house does not have central heat. Perfect for keeping him toasty at night. We layer long-sleeved footie pajamas underneath for a cozy toddler.

Pros:

  • Micro-fleece for warmth,
  • foot holes so your toddler doesn’t trip while trying to get up from bed or walk around.
  • The zipper goes both ways for easy diaper changes.
  • The arm holes were larger to let out excess heat to keep baby from overheating.

Cons:

  • At times the micro-fleece seemed really heavy and hot for my son, so make sure you know how much to layer depending on the temperature of the room.

This SleepSack is priced at $39 with FREE SHIPPING.

Love to Dream Nuzzlin’ SleepSack

My kids loved this cotton sleep sack!

You can see we have worn it a lot, it tends to gain holes around the edges after a large amount of use

This versatile sleep bag is a lighter cotton. My 8-month-old wears it to bed now since the room is cool from our AC window unit. I love that it is a good cover-up but also not too hot.

Pros:

  • light breathable cotton for spring and summer so baby doesn’t get too hot.
  • Zipper around the bottom helps with diaper changes and it goes both ways.
  • Plenty of room for baby to move around, but still be covered from the shoulders down.

Cons:

  • Sometimes the zipper location makes it difficult to change babies at night or even get on (I’m sure my experience has something to do with my squirmy little girl!).
  • Other times the sack will trip her up when she’s trying to crawl or stand.

The size listed goes to 12 months, but my little girl is becoming very mobile right now. She might not be able to wear it much longer since it’s restrictive for crawling and standing.

Comotomo Bottle

I mostly have relied on Medela bottles I was given at my baby showers for my kids.

However, my daughter has been exclusively breastfed while my son was given breastmilk and then formula from the bottle off and on since he was born until he was about one.

So, when the time came for me to leave her with someone who could feed her my milk, I needed a good bottle that felt like me so she would still be comforted.

I searched far and wide, and came upon this amazing Comotomo bottle! I even love saying the name.

Pros:

  • It is squishy to hold,
  • love the feel of the whole bottle,
  • very easy to clean all the parts.
  • It is a reasonable price compared to some of the specialty bottles they make now.
  • It is an 8 oz bottle, so you can put anywhere from 2 oz to 8 oz easily for changing appetites.

Cons:

  • The nipple is so soft that my daughter bit a hole in it about 3 months after purchasing. 😛
  • In that case, you might want to buy a replacement nipple or two.
  • It tends to leak a lot if you purchse the medium flow nipples

The Comotomo Bottle is on sale for $12.99!

Dream on Me Playard Mattress

We purchased an off-brand pack n play from Walmart when we were preparing for baby #2. We figured that could hold her until my son had outgrown his crib.

Well, he still hasn’t quite outgrown it, so I made the necessary purchases to make the pack n play feel more like a crib.

This 3-inch playard mattress was the perfect solution. It makes the pack n play homier and not as hard or knobby. (the pad in there was super thin and hard before, poor sis!)

Pros:

  • It’s not too thick or thin,
  • easy to clean with its waterproof surface.
  • Easy to transport and move in and out of the pack n play.
  • You could even use it on the floor as a small cot if needed.

Cons:

  • It has a plastic feel, but with the right sheets, it’s fine.

Playard Sheets

These soft jersey play yard sheets are great. They are made for a 5″ mattress, but stretch over well and do not bunch up too much.

Pros:

  • These sheets are very soft,
  • cute patterns, gender neutral for future babies,
  • 2-pack for those times when accidents happen.

Cons:

  • I should have checked to see if I could get a 3″ depth sheet, but that was on me in my hurry to buy them!
  • They are also a little thin.

THE PLAYARD SHEETS ARE $19.95

Baby Monitor

The large white camera that we bouht was also a Yanx brand, and we really liked it. This one is mini, mine is more a full-size version.

Pros:

  • Very easy to use, set up, and access with an app on your smartphone.
  • You can record, take pictures, talk to them, and listen to them via the app.
  • The scan feature allows for easy viewing the entire room, unless you have something in the way!

Cons:

  • Sometimes it will disconnect itself and you will have to reset it.
  • You can rotate it to see different parts of the room with the app, but if it’s not in the right position, you have to go manually readjust the camera to get the part of the room you want to view.

FAVORITE AMAZON Products: Mom

Of all of my favorite Amazon proucts, this category is the easiest to shop for since I’m a mom. But keep in mind, some of these might make great gifts as well (hint, hint, like that robe!)

 All-Purpose Robe

I searched often for the best things to put in your hospital bag. I found this jewel of a robe when searching for my first birth.

Pros:

  • So comfortable,
  • short but not too short,
  • easy access for breastfeeding,
  • great for layering if you are cold,
  • 3/4 sleeves to keep from getting wet and dirty.

Cons:

  • The belt gets caught in things if you do not keep them tied,
  • or they get a dip in the toilet if you are not careful!

HOSPITAL GOWNIE FOR LABOR AND DELIVERY

This gown ensemble is not necessarily a must-have item, but it was a luxury item for me when I was in the hospital with my second baby.

I was able to wear the gross hospital gown during birth, and then take a shower and don my own gown. It felt more like home in a way.

Pros:

  • Adorable patterns,
  • a great length for moving around,
  • closures on top allow for breastfeeding access or IVs,
  • comfortable and fresh.

Cons:

  • the buttons didn’t go down far enough to easily breastfeed.
  • It felt like I had to hike everything up in order to relax while breastfeeding.

THE GOWNIE IS $29.99

THROW-AWAY POSTPARTUM UNDIES

When you don’t want to take home the flimsy and see-through undies you get at the hospital, buy some throw-away pad underwear instead. I felt so secure and didn’t have to worry about bleeding out anywhere when I came home and used these. This has to be my favorite Amazon Product for post-partum!

Pros: High-wasted to keep you all tucked in, super absorbent, discreet as long as you are wearing baggy pants.

Cons: Felt huge and itchy at first, but once you are used to wearing them, it’s not really an issue.

THESE DISPOSABLE UNDIES ARE ONLY $20.52

fAVORITE AMAZON PRODUCTS: HOUSEHOLD ITEMS

Reusable Straws

I purchased these Reusable Silicone Straws a while back, and I love them! I use them, my husband uses them, my kids use them, often from the same cup. (We like to keep our immune systems strong).

With these straws, I feel like I drink AT LEAST 3x more water a day, which is so vital to the running and maintaining of our awesome bodies!

Pros:

  • easy to clean,
  • they are adorable,
  • they can be chewed on and not broken,
  • safe for you and the environment.

Cons:

  • After a while, the kids chewing on them puts some wear and tear on the sipping side of the straws
  • Other than that, one of the best purchases I have ever made!

Cordless Vacuum

This Tineco floor vacuum has been a life-saver for my life with 2 toddlers and a baby. We have hard floors with about half of our house, and the amount of dirt, food, dust, and hair that accumulates is just crazy yuck.

I’ve had this vacuum since June 2019, and I will never look back to a broom and dustpan again! This is probably one of my top favorite Amazon products!

Pros:

  • Sucks up dirt and dust very well
  • Quiet machine (doesn’t wake baby up if he’s sleeping)
  • Easy to clean and maintain
  • Has a self-clean brush function, which I love!
  • Comes with a tray so water from the vacuum doesn’t ruin your floors
  • Makes cleaning floors faster and so much easier!
  • Battery lasts about 4-5 days, depending on use and how long you use it each day.

Cons:

  • You have to clean it out after every major use or when using the wet part, otherwise things may clog, start to smell funny, and/or get moldy!
  • The battery takes about 4 hours to charge

THE BEST PART, IT’S MUCH CHEAPER THAN OTHERS LIKE IT AT $214.90

SPICE RACKS

We recently moved, and my cabinet space went down drastically in the main kitchen. Since I love spices and herbs, it was important to me to keep them organized and accessible for daily use. I love how these metal spice racks look and worked in our kitchen!

Pros:

  • Pretty easy to install
  • Small enough to fit in tight spaces
  • Beautiful chrome modern look
  • Fit my spices perfectly

Cons:

  • Make sure you use a level when installing or else they might be a little crooked
  • Measure your cabinet doors before buying in case you want to put them on the inside of your doors, mine were too small, so on to Plan B.

THESE PRETTY AND FUNCTIONAL SPICE RACKS ARE ON SALE FOR $19.75 + A %5 COUPON AT CHECKOUT!

Favorite Amazon Products: Books!

I love books, so I naturally had to add them to my favorite Amazon products list! These books I have all read, and have changed me for better in some way. Some in small ways and others in bigger ways, and others still are working on me yet.

Parenting Books

I am taken with Dr. Ray’s parenting style, advice, and how he managed to raise 10 children with this knowledge. We use them and look forward to implementing his advice. Which is why I am recommending his books to you.

I’m not going to list the pros and cons for these because you either like them or you don’t. I will try to give you a short synopsis of the book themselves so you know what it’s really about.

Advice Worth Ignoring:

In this masterpiece, Dr. Ray exposes fifty of the most common pieces of advice from expert “child psychologists” that don’t really let parents be parents. His goal is to educate and empower parents to do what works best for their own kids, and to help grow your family.

Discipline That Lasts a Lifetime:

Dr. Ray goes through FAQs by parents and answers them in paragraph and chapter format, putting them into categories that are easily relatable. He also explains why he answers each question the way he does.

Warning: if you don’t get sarcasm or have a hard time deciphering joke with non-joke, this might not be the book for you. His dry humor is very apparent in his writing.

Winning the Discipline Debates:

This one might have been my favorite. It’s not as long as the other two, making reading it seemingly fast. He presents different situations that a parent might be faced with, presents what a parent might do, and then what the parent probably should in each case. Very insightful and helpful when dealing with specific discipline situations in your household.

Spiritual and Growing Your Faith Books

33 Days to Morning Glory:

It has always been an inspiring go-to when I want to understand more about who the Virgin Mary is. The book invites me to consecrate myself to Jesus through Mary and explores why we would want to do that.

St. John Paul the Great: His Five Loves:

Truly one of the great saints of our time, the love and wisdom of JP II was seen by people all over the world. Jason Evert outlines the beauty of what John Paul loved and how it fits into his holy life before and during his pontificate.

The Flame of Love:

This book surprises many people. It is a very startling book at times, so if you cannot handle people seeing visions and getting visits from the Devil himself, this might not be a good read for you.

On the other hand, if you would like to learn about suffering for Jesus and how it could save others, this is a good read. It also depicts Elizabeth being visited by Mary and Jesus with specific instructions on how to fast and offer oneself for sinners.

 Motherhood Books

Ultimate Makeover: The Transforming Power of Motherhood

This book was part of a game-changing outlook on motherhood for me. It is chock full of interesting chapters that make a mother think about all kinds of ideas. Virtue, vice, obstacles, triumphs, and how motherhood truly makes us holy. Wow! It’s a fantastic book for all mothers and especially Catholic mothers.

The Conclusion of My Favorite Amazon Products

All of these fantastic products are definitely not the only things I’ve bought on Amazon in the past 3 or 4 years, but they have been the ones that have impressed me the most.

With my list of favorite Amazon products, I hope you find something that you needed (or wanted). Even more, I hope that this gave you a good excuse to curl up on your couch, click on that screen and purchase something for your or a loved one! Who said retail therapy isn’t legit? (it don’t lead to happiness, but it is nice to purchase things we need or want)

All of these products are affiliate links, just to remind you. You don’t pay anything extra by using my link to purchase.

What’s your favorite product you’ve ever bought from Amazon and why???
