One, no one should have to fight to find good products that are good for them. While Beautycounter doesn’t guarantee that every product will work for you, it’s a start to recognizing the type of good products you should be looking for.
Two, I wish to clean up my life. Not in an addictive sense, but in a sense of I know where my food, beauty, and skincare is coming from. As much as possible, I want to be able to provide secure and safe products for my family and be sure that others know of the dangers of harmful ingredients.
Their goal is to bring products to others that are cleaner, safer and actually good for you. Understanding that many ingredients are not fully tested, they take the time to test their ingredients and make sure they are not harmful to you as a consumer.
They have a comprehensive “Never List” that tells you all of the ingredients that are not included in their products.
In addition, part of their mission is a rally for change. Lobbying in Washington, setting up meetings with Congress, spreading awareness is what they do. They wish to set higher beauty standards in the US and let people know about the harmful effects certain chemicals and ingredients have on us.
I received a free Countermatch lotion when I signed up as a Band of Beauty member (comes with lots of special perks and discounts!) It was an amazing lotion that exceeded my expectations. I am trying the Citrus Mimosa hand creams and body lotions next, so I will let you know how I like them as well.

Countercontrol is the product that is used to help with the control and prevention of acne. Like many other brands out there, the main ingredient for control is salicylic acid.
I have tried many, many other products for acne, and none of them have made my skin feel and look as good as it has with Countercontrol.

Another definite skin care winner. This lotion makes my body feel soft, supple, and actually hydrated! I can’t tell you how many lotions I have used in the past with less-than-stellar results. I actually want to put lotion on every night now, and that is hard for even me to admit!
Note: I haven’t used the body oil, but enjoy the pretty picture!

It may seem silly to really love a hand soap, but I have discovered just how mediocre my value brand from Walmart was. This soap is amazing. It is actually creamy when you wash your hands, and you don’t feel like you just stripped 2 layers of skin off.
For a mom who changes diapers and wipes noses frequently during these winter hours, it is amazing to have a product that doesn’t dry out your hands!

Not only is this a top-selling product, but it is also such a good solution to problem skin on the body that needs balancing. I use it on my entire body, and it has an amazing clean feel. On top of that, it never dries my skin out, but rather nourishes it to the point of well, awesome!

There are really a million reasons, and each one can be personal to you and what you need as a person. However, I will only give you three, since a million might be a bit overwhelming!
You get your money back! Seriously, if you buy a full-sized product, use it all, and still don’t love it within 60 days, Beautycounter will fully refund you!
Again, Beautycounter gets that not everyone will benefit from every product, so it’s okay. There are other safer options out there that I would love to help you explore as well!
The US only bans 30 harmful ingredients to be used in beauty products, as opposed to Canda’s 600 and Europe’s 1400. Beautycounter’s Never List of 1500 never-used ingredients shows you just how many harmful elements they refrain from using in all their products. Some of these ingredients have been links to infertility, cancer, endocrine system problems, and many more disturbing health problems.
You can rest assured knowing that BC has your back when it comes to clean beauty!
You can be a part of something bigger. As consumers, it is ridiculous that we have to put up with super low standards with our beauty products. That isn’t safe!
We all know someone who has cancer or infertility or someone who struggles with skin problems and endocrine problems. It’s an epidemic. And while the right products are not the only factor to someone’s overall health, it certainly helps.
Beautycounter’s mission to creating change in Washington is real, and they send thousands of letters, phone calls, and emails to the Congressmen and women every year.

This is a short introduction to all the cool products that Beautycounter makes. There are more, but I’d rather give it to you in bits and pieces, as I am still learning a bunch about the brand and products myself.
