How to Strengthen A Marriage
Have you ever wondered why keeping a marriage strong is so difficult? Even though they warn you before you get married, or you witness it in other couples, you think your marriage will be the invincible one.
We should know better. Keeping up a relationship is hard work, especially our marriage. There have been so times in my own marriage where I have felt very close to my husband and we are on a great track. Then, just like that, we can get to a point where we are not communicating, not spending time with each other, and it seems everything can fall apart in an instant. Just last week I was asking my husband if we could spend at least 20 minutes a day talking to reconnect each day (without our phones)

I think it might be the 52-week marriage journal. When you get the kit, you’ll be armed with the tools to be intentional about spending time with your partner in marriage. This is exactly what we need in our marriage.
How We Use the Journal
My hubby and I have been doing the weekly marriage journal and it has been nice to have a set time (Sunday nights) for us to sit down and talk about the week. It helps us know what to expect, what events are happening, what each person wants to accomplish, and how we can pray for each other.
I love the part at the bottom that gives couples a chance to write a note to each other.
So sweet!
Plus, it gives us a chance to read Scripture together, even if it is only one verse (it still counts, okay? ) The bite-size pieces are so workable and flexible for us.
What Can You Lose?
I love that Suprised By Marriage is showing other couples the ups and downs of marriage in real life, and then creating resources to help them fulfill their vocation!
Plus, Logan and Jen are very personable and easy to connect with!
I watched a few of their videos, and I was laughing at every single one!
