Have you heard of the “25 Pockets of Prayer”?
This Advent, you might want to try this short and amazing-packed Ebook for a change of pace, for a change of prayer-life. Keep reading for a full review of the product!
Why an Advent Review?
Advent is an obvious time to start looking for new and good things to use to improve your prayer life, your liturgical celebration, your family time, and other related activities.
For this year’s Advent review, I choose to review the product, “25 Pockets of Prayer for Advent”, created by Linsday Schlegel.
This product looked very enticing to me because of its clear title and my obvious need for more prayer in my life. I have 3 little ones and it seems like my prayer life and time has taken a tumble since my daily duties include 3 very important persons now.
My problem as a SAHM is one that many Catholic moms struggle with. You have an amazing prayer life before you get married and maybe even after you get married. All great, and then your kids come along. Wonderful blessings, yet you find that your daily prayer time is slipping away!
That is me, and this product definitely looked like it could help my issue of not enough prayer time in my life!
Features of “25 Pockets of Prayer”

- Instructions and suggestions included
- Self-guided and self-paced
“25 Pockets of Prayer” Advent Review: My Experience
When I first opened the product, I was pleasantly surprised at how instantly calm and peaceful it made me feel. Call me crazy, but as soon as I started reading it, I thought, this product was made for someone like me!
Other things that I noted:
- Very easy to read
- You can implement the suggestions right away
- Linsday is super relatable in her intro and her writing
- The connections to saint and prayers were so reassuring as a Catholic
- I could even include my children on the prayer times she suggested if I wanted to
It kind of reminded me of the 8 Ways to Enhance Your Spirituality, but it was a lot denser and more action-packed.
My Results with this Product
As with any review, and especially over something as important as an Advent product, you will want to know the results, am I right?
My day became instantly more prayer-filled, it seemed. And the suggestions were very easy to implement.
After reading just a few pages of the Ebook, I found myself:
- Praying Hail Mary’s while folding laundry
- Double-checking how I ate and how I could give up some in order to do better for my body and as a sacrifice for someone
- Enlightened on all the beautiful ways to use common Catholic prayers
- Aware of how actionable and simplified prayer can become in your daily life!
Bottom Line on This Advent Review
Based on what I experienced with “25 Pockets of Prayer”, this product is created for:
- Moms who are tired of yelling and feeling frustrated all the time
- Moms and wives who would like to implement more prayer into their lives
- Children who would like to apply prayer to everyday activities and chores
- Anyone who wants to be more aware of God in his/her life
It is not for:
- Someone who is already an expert at praying through everything daily
- A mom who has no trouble with patient, mercy, and love
And it was very simple. 14 pages full of great tips for implementing prayer into your life, especially during Advent. If I had known this product existed months ago, I would have gotten it then! I will continue looking forward to using and applying the helpful tips in this book for years to come!
The BEST advent ever!
